What’s the difference between Pre-Owned and ‘Almost New’?
Pre-owned devices have higher meter reads and therefore less life left in them. ‘Almost New’ devices are not new, but have very low meters and are available for HUGE discounts of 50-75% off their original retail price. They either weren’t used to their capacity by their previous owners during their typical 4 or 5 year leases, or are lease returns from companies that closed down. Konica Minolta bizhub C759 — 54% Off!
75ppm colour high volume multifunction with 100-sheet staple/booklet finisher and post inserter purchased in summer 2021. This model was sold as new up until February 2021! Typical print volume for the C759 is 16k/month. That means after a typical 5 year lease this device would have had roughly 960K copies on it, but this one had only 249k! Only 1/4 of its expected print volume. Customer got it for 54% off the original retail price!
Konica Minolta bizhub 308e — 55% Off!
30ppm monochrome multifunction, only 1 generation old. Came with a 100-sheet single pass document feeder and 2 universal paper trays. Typical print volume for this device is 5k/month. After a typical 5 year lease it should have 300k copies on it, but this one had only 80k! Again, only 1/4 of its expected print volume. Customer got it for 55% off the original retail price!
Konica Minolta bizhub 364e — 74% Off!!
30ppm monochrome multifunction, 2 generations old. Came with 100-sheet single pass document feeder and 4 universal paper trays. Typical print volume for this device is 6500/month. After a typical 5 year lease it should have 390k copies on it, but this one had only 55k, only 14% of its expected print volume! Customer got it for 74% off the original retail price!
